Project Management in the Built Environment Away Day

Staff involved with the MSc Project Management in the Built Environment went away for the PMBE Away Day on 26 July. Not very far away...just across the road to Headington Hill Hall (home to Robert Maxwell before Oxford Brookes took over the lease). Click on the link to take a look at its history.

The Away Day gave staff the opportunity to focus on the MSc programme, consider feedback from students, sort out arrangements for the new students, take a look at Moodle the new virtual learning environment and of course to come up with plenty of fresh ideas to enhance the MSc. Here's the day in photos (taken by Franco Cheung)...

And a time to celebrate. Mark Austin's 25 years at Oxford Brookes.

Nick Spencer Chapman opens the champagne...

...and pours whilst Mark blows out his candle (that's one for every 25 years then)

The toast

Presentation from the Head of Department (hope that's a suitable vintage)
