In September 2015, we welcomed 61 students onto the BSc Construction Project Management and the BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
One of the activities for the first week was designed to help the students find their way around. And also for a bit of fun. There was a prize in it too. The students (in their groups) had to find particular locations around the university that might be useful to them during their time at Oxford Brookes - and then take a group selfie at that location. The locations included (click on the blue links for more information):
Urban Design Studio
Real Estate and Construction Corridor
Subject Coordinator (and their Office)
Drop-boxes (for submitting work)
Student Support Coordinator's Office
Abercrombie Atrium (home to the Cafe and the Glass Tank)
The Terrace (in the new JHB Building)
John Payne Building (home to the Technology Lab)
Gibbs Building (home of many teaching rooms)
Print Room
Library
Careers Centre
OBIS Drop-in
Upgrade (Study Advice Service)
Student Central
